Perhaps from indu (“in”) + ūst-, ūstr-, stem of ūrō (“burn, burn up, consume”, verb), related to Old High German ūstrī (“industry”), 古期英語 andūstrian (“to hate, detest”, literally “to be consumed with zeal”).
