1. (anatomy) The visible indentation above an iliac crest and beneath the navel, usually only visible on physically fit people.

   Apollo's belt, the iliac furrow, is also known as an athlete's girdle or Adonis belt.

   His physique is like a Roman god with very pronounced iliac furrows or Apollo's belt.
