(biology) A wall separating two cavities; a partition.

7. (zoology) One of the transverse partitions dividing the body cavity of an annelid.
8. (nuclear medicine) One of the walls dividing two holes in a parallel-hole collimator
(colloquial) Ellipsis of septum ring or septum piercing.
