Host a Special Session at EFFoST2026

Are you looking to promote your EU project or association to a highly engaged audience of food scientists, technologists, and industry professionals?

We would like to support EU projects and associations with their communication and dissemination activities by providing the opportunity to host a special session or participate in the EU Collaboration corner.

With around 900 delegates attending last year, and an impressive number of abstract submissions for this edition, EFFoST2026 promises to be another vibrant and impactful event.

Would you like to highlight your EU project or association at EFFoST2026? We invite EU projects and associations to enhance their communication and dissemination efforts by hosting a Special Session or participating in the EU Collaboration Corner.

What Are Special Sessions?

Special sessions are an integral part of the scientific program, running parallel to the main conference sessions. The special sessions, reviewed by the EFFoST Scientific Committee, offer EU projects and associations the chance to showcase their work to a targeted audience. Two additional parallel streams will be dedicated to special sessions hosted by EU projects and associations.

You can host a special session focusing on a single project or collaborate with multiple projects. EFFoST will take care of all logistical arrangements, including venue and catering, allowing you to concentrate on delivering high-quality content.

Session Format and Options

Each session lasts for 1.5 hours and includes:

• Option 1: 1 keynote presentation (30 minutes) followed by 4 presentations (15 minutes each)

• Option 2: 6 presentations of 15 minutes each

Special Session Package Includes:

• Conference room for up to 90 people, for 1.5 hours, at the EFFoST2026 venue

• Professional audio and video equipment

• Lunch and refreshment breaks as per the EFFoST2026 program

Boost your project’s exposure at the EU collaboration corner!

Alongside the opportunity to host a special session, it is also possible to boost the exposure of your project or association at the EU collaboration corner. The EU Collaboration Corner is centrally located on the exhibition floor providing EU projects and societies the opportunity to promote their activities and results to all conference delegates. Here you can display a roll-up banner and distribute your leaflets.

EU Collaboration Corner package, includes :

• One roll-up banner, printed by EFFoST according to your design
• Distribution of promotional flyers for one project or
• Project logo included on the EFFoST2026
• Promotion of your project on the @EFFoST social media
• After the conference, you can take the roll-up banner with you!
