I purchased a HackRF One back in December and have been toiling away trying to decode various digital radio modes. Turns out that there are quite a few different digital modes and it's not all that simple to identify which is which! I've had a some success decoding weather faxes, FT8, APRS, ACARS, VDL2, and ADSB among others.
I'm studying up to get my ham radio license so I can do a little bit of transmitting as well! I'm also working to perfect my radio setup which currently includes the HackRF, a small LNA, an upconverter for looking at lower bands, and an ANT500 antenna. Noise is still very much an issue given that my home is full of electronics, many of which emit RF on purpose, so I'm running around clipping ferrite beads onto all sorts of wires like a mad man.
