Evangelion remake!
It's kind of interesting to me. Evangelion was probably one of the last good anime to be done entirely on film. How will this update work in comparison? Will we be able to stand any of the voices? I don't know. It will be interesting to see how a bigger budget (and perhaps better, or at least digital tools) will affect the show. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be another George Lucas. Hopefully it will be more of a Yasujiro Ozu.
My biggest worry, of course, would not be the visuals, which I'm sure will be vastly improved. My biggest worry is the sound, music and voices. And of course the editing, I've always loved the editing of the original show and its two movies.
