Global Collaborations

A lot of work is being done across regions around Just-in-time arrival and port call optimization. On January 30th, 2025, initiatives from the North Atlantic region gathered in an online meeting to share knowledge and insight and to align efforts moving forward.

The initiatives are: GSTS (CA), PCIS POC Demonstration System (USA), MISSION (EU) and DYNAPORT (EU).

In addition to general information about the projects (objectives, funding, duration, involved parties, etc), information was shared on what will be achieved in terms of improved ship-port interfaces and operations through better coordination systems in the port and more extensive and standardized communication between ships and port.

The initiatives will meet regularly moving forward to share updates and progress, and work on potential collaborative efforts and shared action point.
