Just like Radio Santander (below), my attempts in trying to get a response from Radio Coruña has been unfruitful untill I received a nice reply from their technical department last month. My reception of the station was made on the mostly uninteresting DX-pedition this past January. Despite poor conditions, there are always some DX to be heard. In this case local Spanish stations 🙂
Radio Coruña is one of 4 Spanish stations transmitting on 1080 kHz. With its location in Northwest Spain and along the coast, it it the most common of these here. Their mediumwave transmitter is listed with an output of just 2 kilowatts, but still get through fairly well.
