Note that no dice rolls are required to create a basic character in Dwarven Glory – there are no ability scores to roll, no starting gold to determine, and PCs start with maximum hit points at 1st level.
…and to contradict my previous comment, some of the optional rules require random rolls. Specifically, dwarven backgrounds and quirks call for you to toss the dice.
I’ve converted some PCs from the old Castles & Crusades campaign. I’m afraid they don’t conform to the dwarven naming conventions.
I haven’t decided what to do about backgrounds or quirks yet (will probably just assign some that seem fitting during play).
