Structure

Dominican Veritas Ministries is structured to support the unique ministry of sponsorship and to foster collaboration between the Dominican Sisters and the laity. It is both a canonical entity and a civil corporation. The canonical entity establishes our sponsorship as a pontifical public juridic person (PJP), an official part of the Catholic Church. Its purpose is guided by the DVM Members.

The canonical entity operates through the civil domain, DVM, Inc. Its Board of Trustees oversees the spiritual formation, financial stewardship, and governance of the sponsored ministries. The Office of Sponsorship provides signature resources and programming to support the ministries in accomplishing their missions.

Each ministry is a separate civil corporation with a local Board of Directors. School Presidents/Heads of School and Board members work in partnership with the Office of Sponsorship to engage the challenges of our time and provide students with a transformational Dominican Catholic education. DVM is structured to welcome additional educational ministries sponsored by the Dominican Order.
