DHAKA STOCK EXCHANGE PLC. (the "DSE"), a public limited company, founded in 1954, is the leading exchange of Bangladesh with around 95% of total market turnover. Since its inception, DSE has been contributing to country's industrialization, development of infrastructure and overall economic growth. DSE introduced automated trading system in 1998. In line with the global trend and with a vision to be a leading exchange in the region, DSE transformed into a demutualized exchange in 2013. In 2018, DSE got two leading exchanges of the world- Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange as its strategic shareholders. As of 2024, total listed company DSE in Main Market, SME market and ATB Board are 359, 20 and 1 respectively.

INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CORPORATION ("IFC"), an international organization established by Articles of Agreement among its member countries, including the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group ("WBG""), is an international organization whose purposes under its Articles of Agreement include seeking to stimulate, and to help create conditions conducive to, the flow of private capital, domestic and foreign, into productive investments in member countries. IFC's Bangladesh Environment, Social & Governance ("IESG") project (the "Program") provides advisory services to help strengthen Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") Standards and practices for the development of the private sector in Bangladesh. The Program is managed by IFC's Environment, Social and Governance Department. The Program is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs - SECO (the "Donor"). The Donor's aim is to ensure sustainable economic growth in Bangladesh by establishing necessary regulatory and economic policy conditions. <

DSE and IFC entered into a Cooperation Agreement intend to cooperate in three areas: (1) delivering workshops on climate and other non-financial disclosures; (2) delivering trainings on the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures ("TCFD"); and (3) delivering training on Sustainable Green Bonds.
