If it isn't going to get a conviction, don't waste everybody's time with a vote.
The charges are stupid, and broad, and I always cringe when I see stuff like this. Be specific. What actions violated his oath of office? Unfortunately, making abysmally stupid decisions isn't a disqualifier. Neither is starting foreign wars for dumb reasons. So he violated the Constitution. What Clause and how did he violate it?
I'm going to give Trump some credit here and suggest some of his decisions are based off of misleading information from Hegseth, if not outright lies, and Hegseth knew it. If I am correct, that is a completely valid reason for impeachment, and would be pretty easy to prove.
Every single partisan impeachment effort since Clinton has been a failure, a stain on the Nation's, and looks terrible for the charging party. I'm sick of it, and I suspect most of the country agree with me. Just because Republicans pioneered lawfare by impeachment, it doesn't mean the Democrats have to do it too.
