I'm a pretty big fan of Maher - love his HBO show.

However, this recurring theme that he is willing to "talk" to Trump is just a bridge too far.

With a normal person - sure. But Trump is ultimate BSer and Maher is either too enthralled with meeting him (doubtful) or just playing it to be different (likely).

The WH dinner with Trump was a complete failure because Maher actually asked Trump "do you worry you are scaring people?". Maher couldn't present us with the answer because - I believe he said - he couldn't remember.
