Let's see, where to start.............
Stuff I've Watched Recently!
I randomly decided to watch Sherlock. I guess I had been hearing so much about it on tumblr and stuff, I decided to try it out. BEST DECISION EVER! That show is really good :O I think I watched all 6 episodes in like 3 days (I probably could have watched it all in one go, but I hung out with Rebecca, so that distracted me. Then I had to find the second season on the internet). Next I was going to watch Doctor Who, after deciding to start with the 9th Doctor, I even managed to watched the first episode of that. Then I got side-tracked by The IT Crowd. So far, I've managed to watch 2 seasons and the first episode of the 3rd season. I highly recommend it! It's so funny!! Moss I think is my favorite character. He reminds me a lot of Jermaine from Flight of the Conchords (which if you haven't watched, watch! ^^). Plus the other guy is really adorable, in a total guy way XD
Other than that, dramas i've watched recently. I pretty much got all caught up with Legal High in two days. That show is fantastic, even though the chick in it totally annoys me. I don't know what it is about most women in most dramas, they just irk me. It's probably the cultural difference in how women are supposed to behave in Japan that is annoying me. Anyway, I think the thing that annoys me the most is that she is very self-righteous and thinks she is way better than she is (has she ever won a court case even in the show?). That being said, I really like the main guy (sorry, really bad with names XD). I like the way he talks and his character. I even really love Junno in it, every time his character pops up in his one scene an episode, I'm like "flkdsajfl;fjdkashf eeeeeee :3" To be honest, I don't even like KAT-TUN at all, but if I did, Junno would totally be my bias.
Somehow this drama season, the two dramas I'm keeping up with the most are Ohno's drama (Kage Heya....is that what it's called?) and the HIkaru/Kiriyama Renn doctor drama (with Tsuyoshi from SMAP that 37 sai blah blah). *hours later* Yeah, totally just finished the doctor drama, all i can say is, wtf was that drama even? D: Ohno's drama isn't too bad, i'm not the biggest toda erika fan, but the rest of the characters are awesome. I would say, I probably would keep yp with the Tacchon/Older Brother/Kitty drama, if it got subbed quicker :/ That one might be my favorite of the season, because Tacchon and the older brother are really fantastic in it. Aiba is just kind of there for me.
As for Papadoru, I've only watched two episodes. I think that explains everything :/
I'm really excited for some of the dramas coming up next season. Probably the one I'm most looking forward to is Sprout. The story is kind of stupid, but I'm so excited to see the puppy acting I CAN'T. I'm really sad that ebi aren't doing the theme song, and that it's a freaking 7 song :/ Sometimes, it's insanely frustrating being a predominately ebi fan. I really wish they would put out a single and do a proper tour. kjfhdsakjfghdjashffdakjhfdsjkh Come on already orz
Anyway, in other news. For my sister's 30th birthday, she made a Facebook event thing and asked all her friends to send her a mix cd (since she's far away from all of them and can't have a party) For some reason, my sister also tagged me in it, even though:
1) I am going to be here for her birthday (and probably going to be with her seeing batman)
2) She knows exactly what kind of mix I'm going to make her (j-mix of some sort)
*note* I have made my sister a grand total of 5 j-mixes and she has listened to not a one of them. I know this because I told her that when she listened to them, let me know what she thinks, and I have yet to hear about that.
Sometimes it's really frustrating because my sister could really care less about my interests, and I'm pretty sure it just annoys her. Like, when I'm listening to my music, even if it's already pretty low, I always get "turn it down so that I can't hear it" .__.
Anyway, bottom line is, don't give two shits, giving her a j-mix ^^ so if you have any suggestions as to some good songs that maybe someone who is really pretentious and likes indie music would like, LET ME KNOW! :3 I was thinking of picking one or two songs from each group, and maybe making a booklet with translated lyrics in them. For kanjani, I know I want to include Wander, because I love that song.
