Hi folks. I've been aware of Heavy Gear for about 20 years now, from the Heavy Gear II PC game and the TV show. Always thought the Gear design was cool, and I was looking at the models a few years a go. Finally getting back into collecting miniatures again after about 10 years, and decided to give Heavy Gear a go. I've always been a hobbyist, but I'm looking to get into playing some tabletop games, and Heavy Gear Blitz's model count and compelling rule system made it attractive. It felt very fortuitous getting into it just as the new ruleset came out, so I'm very eager to learn the system and get some games in. I've got the Northern Army Box from the folks at Shiny Games, and I'm very happy with the quality and presentation of the sprues. I'm looking forward to sharing some pictures of my army once I've got them painted up.
