The new Black Talon - Force Recon Squad box set of 6 minis is now available to order on the Dream Pod 9 Online Store. It includes the Dark Cheetah (1x standing & 1x running poses), the Dark Skirmisher (1x standing & 1x running poses), and the Dark Warrior (1x standing & 1x running poses) plus extra parts and weapons. We had Alain Gadbois paint them up in the standard Black Talon paint scheme and add some faction decals and numbering. Check out box cover and photos of the individually painted Dark Cheetah, Dark Skirmisher, Dark Warrior miniatures below, plus image graphic of their parts. Today we have a preview of the new Dark Cheetah, Dark Skirmisher, and Dark Warrior 3D Models for the upcoming Black Talon Force Recon Squad Box Set, to include 2x Dark Cheetah (standing & running poses), 2x Dark Skirmisher (standing & running poses) and, 2x Dark Warrior (standing & running poses) plus extra parts and weapons. The new Force Recon Squad miniatures were 3D modeled by Tony Baltera who also made our previous Black Talon models of the Dark Mamba, Dark Jaguar, and Karakara. He did another amazing job, checkout preview images of the new models front and rear views, and parts included for HGB 3.1 Rules and our upcoming HGB 4.0 Rules. The models have been test printed and assembled for painting. We should have them all painted up later next week and then we'll do another post to show how they turned out. At the same time we'll get the new Black Talon Force Recon Squad Box (6 minis) of 3D Printed ABS like resin miniatures up for sale on the DP9 Online Store.

Good to see Tribes in the Dark out to backers, now waiting on the POD. The new art work in the book looks good, and complements the older art well -
The final layout of the Tribe 8 - Tribes in the Dark eBook - Is now available for Backers! We finished the final 332 page layout of Tribes in the Dark last week and created a new eBook private download page for Campaign Backers and Outside Backers with the eBook reward level. It includes the final Tribes in the Dark eBook and Tribes in the Dark Playerkit-v2.pdf downloads. Codes were emailed out from DriveThruRPG just after 4 pm EST on Saturday March 21st 2026 to those Backers. If you don't see the email please check your spam folder. If you still don't find it, you can contact Robert at Dream Pod 9 via email at [email protected] (don't respond with your email address in a comment to this update). We also created a new private eBook and POD Book at a special price download page for Campaign Backers with that reward level. It includes the final eBook and Playerkit-v2.pdf downloads. The POD Books with be at their actual POD printing costs of $15.08 USD for the Softcover or $20.59 USD for the Hardcover, plus shipping cost to your location. Later when the eBook and POD Books are available to the general public the eBook with be priced at $30.00 USD, the Softcover will be $50.00 USD and the Hardcover will be $60.00 USD. Next we are working on the Tribes in the Dark Companion eBook and plan to have it ready for Backers in Summer 2026.

"Dark" Bricklayer "Whilst not overly common for use by the Tera Novan space forces, this Bricklayer has been modified for space use in the Talon program, for both training of new pilots in space combat before they can damage the real hardware. It is also used for maintenance and repair outside the station when required" This has been the most fun I've had painting white in a longtime and think it turned out well. No game use for it, but had to do it since the idea got stuck in my head. Also I love the new 3d print sculpt of the Bricklayer
