As I said before, I would be leaving LiveJournal in the New Year. Today is the New Year. But, I'm gonna give you all 5 days here to comment, starting today. But on the 5th January, I will officially leave this place.
Don't cry for me. I don't think of this as the end for me, but rather another chapter of my life; a second adventure.
As I already explained, it just became pointless here when there wasn't much LJ friends commenting on my posts. I felt that fewer LJ friends were using LiveJournal as the years went by, because of tumblr. And I felt I was just wasting my time. I just wanna move on and have a fresh start - concentrate more on my writing; both stories and fan letters.

While back, after I declared by departure of LiveJournal, I found this poem online by Alfred Lord Tennyson called Ulysses. Here is the shorter version;
"It may be that the gulfs will wash us down;
It may be we shall touch the Happy Isles,
And though we are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will;
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

I’ve been thinking about that poem a lot lately. And I think what it says is that, while it’s tempting to play it safe, the more we’re willing to risk, the more alive we are. In the end, what we regret most are the chances we never took. And I hope that explains, at least a little, this journey on which I am about to embark. I have loved every minute with all of you, my LJ family. For 3 years you've all commented on my posts with so much positive feedback. For that, I am grateful.

There is also a phrase from an iconic character, one I think you all know; Spock. From his words, and added with a little touch of my own, his phrase is;
"You have been, and always will, my [LJ]friend(s).
Live long, and prosper."

Now, I'm not going to show you the YouTube clip of him saying that because; A)It's much too said. B)I don't want you to assume that I'm dying or something, just leaving and the_muppet will mention me here time to time. C)I was going to show only one YouTube video, and it should be better.

I would like to say goodbye to you, my LJ friends:
deans_babe, surfer_buoy, el1ie, starrylizard, yenny2206, k_nightfox, chaosmaka, anmkosk, prfctdaze, asifidletyou, kari_hermione, hogwartsvixxxen, alby_mangroves, mrs_leary & antarctic_sue

I bid you all adieu.
And if any of you go through a monster phase, or want to know about monsters, simply type in the search engine for tags like Monsters, Encyclopedia and/or Hunter. Or if you know someone in the film industry in need of some inspiration to make a movie, then type in the search engine for tags like Films, Movies, Actors and/or Actresses, see if that helps. Or if you just want to read good story, and liked my stories, then just type in Stories on the search engine and you'll see stories from my Halloween stories to a Guy Richie fanfic to even my story that I never had published but posted(one chaoter each) here instead; Battle for Li Chien instead.

I really did enjoyed posting awesome entries, and even more so hearing your opinions on them. I will miss you all very much, and I wish each of you a great year to come.

Goodbye, and Godspeed.

And ladies and gentlemen, Billy Boyd performing The Last Goodbye;

As you know, there are rumours of a Justice league movie coming soon. But they already announced the casting ideas.
Firstly, I don't mind Ben Affleck playing Batman. I thought he was really good in Daredevil. But then there's the choice for Wonder Woman; apparently, Warner Bros. Studio had cast Gal Gadot(from the Fast & Furious franchise) to play Wonder Woman. No offence, but I've seen her in the Fast & Furious films, and she's a bit too skinny for the role, where as Wonder Woman has a bit muscular in the comics. I thought that role would be suitable for the likes of Cobie Smulders or Jaime Alexander. But if they did considered it but unable to because both actresses has a contract with Marvel Studios, then I understand. Of course could've at least give that role to former MMA fighter Gina Carano, now she would definitely has the Wonder Woman role all over her.

Then there was rumours that they will introduce Lex Luthor and Alfred Pennyworth in the upcoming Batman/Superman movie. unfortunately, they had chosen Jesse Eisenberg and Jeremy Irons to play Luthor and Alfred respectively. Now I think that Eisenberg is a bit too young for the role as Lex Luthor, as I picture the character to be older, I always thought Daniel Craig or Michael Keaton would be better roles. And while I like Jeremy Irons in films, I kinda thought Warner Bros. Studios would consider John Hurt, I always thought he was best suited to portray Alfred.

And as for the Green Lantern movie; the late Michael Clarke Duncan played Kilowog, but since his passing it is unknown where the character would fit in for the sequel. Unless DC Studios would get Kevin Grevioux to portray Kilowag.

In the show Arrow, Grant Gustin portrays Barry Allen(the future Flash). My guess is, DC studios plans to not only make a spin-off featuring The Flash, but also make a cinematic universe with both shows connecting the upcoming Justice league & Batman/Superman movies. But what of the rest of the DC superheroes? Perhaps Peter Mensah portraying the Martian Manhunter(and perhaps put him in a future episode of Arrow), Max Irons portraying Aquaman, and Jaden Smith portraying Cyborg(probably might feature in The Flash spin-off).

Speaking of Ben Affleck playing Batman, maybe they'll make a film with him in it. If so, what are the casting choices? I think Saoirse Ronan would be best suited to play Barbera Gordon(soon to be Batgirl), Stanley Tucci as commissioner Gordon and Ben Kingsley to portray Hugo Strange. But who would portray The Joker? Heath Ledger was excellent at playing the Joker. Perhaps either Johnny Lee Miller, Adrien Brody or Willem Dafoe? I'm not sure.

Bottom line, I am slightly disappointed in the choice of cast for the latest DC films so far. And I do hope they won't keep disappointing me.
