My ramblings: Ahhhhh, this is one of those fics where an artist reads it and gets bombarded with a thousand ideas and then despairs that they are not better at their jobs. Why can't I do all the things my brain imagines? WHY.

I'm sorry you got stuck with me, I'm so sorry for the lateness of this, and I am so, so, EPICALLY SORRY for the horribly incomplete state that it's in right now. D: This is just a couple snippets from a larger image, but I wanted to post something for you so you didn't have to start the new year off with no gift. I think I got a little too ambitious for my own good, what with how RL likes to trip me up at every opportunity and how slow I tend to be, but I was EXCITED for this one, darn it!

I went with your "knight in shining armor" and "Buffy crossover" likes. I also stalked your journal for a minute and saw you had a thing for Faith. :D BtVS was my intro to the wonderful world of fandom, and crossovers are one of my faaavorite things, so I was really eager to do something for that.

I had so much fun working on this, you have no idea. There were a thousand and one little medieval-type elements I wanted to cram into everything--choosing only a couple was hard. What it started with was a broken heart and boatload of depression. Without the one person he'd always been able to count on because Jared had gone to school in California and left him behind.

Convinced he'd never recover, Jensen barely made it through most days until a chance encounter at the campus bookstore led him to someone who helped him come gradually back to life. Misha was Jensen's second chance at happiness.

Until a twist of fate brought his first chance back into his life and forced Jensen to realize that he'd never really gotten over Jared. Not all the way. And he might never.

My ramblings: So, daydreamdestiel has gotta be the speediest speedster I have ever worked with, and all I can say for my slow-poke self is I'm sorry you got stuck with me, bud. XP I was so excited when I got the outline for this, it was like all of my dreams were coming true, and she did not disappoint on the delivery. You guuuuuys! She gave me lots of beautiful pining and h/c and A THREESOME!! What more could a girl ask for?? BAMF-y POWERS!SAM ON A MOTORCYCLE?! *points accusingly at fic* I'm sorry, I refuse to accept the blame for this.

When he gets chosen for a new job babysitting the front desk at Muse FM radio station, Jared's mostly expecting more of the same. He's not expecting Jensen, the mysterious, hoodie-wearing host of Muse FM's overnight show, to catch his interest quite so thoroughly, or to be quite so difficult to figure out. He's not expecting so many unanswered questions about what, exactly, he's supposed to be protecting Jensen from. He's also not expecting to care so much about either of those things.

Oh, and he's definitely not expecting the monsters, either.

My ramblings: Endless gratitude to cleflink for being the most amazing, creative, inspiring, patient person on the planet. ♥ *kidnaps her* I was so so so so excited to work on this fic, but of course RL didn't just get busy, it blew the hell up. So, this art post is not done. I refuse to be done because I haven't finished VERY IMPORTANT THINGS yet. There's no law that says I can't keep giving her art forever -- I checked.

Ack, I am the worst at fandoming. I seem to recall a time when I could balance work and play so effortlessly and get so much shit done in a single day? How did I do it, it's a mystery.

Once again, family and health issues have sucked up all my time and energy. I don't want to get into details because I think the world is plenty depressing enough as it is right now, but, man, it feels like every time something comes up, other things think they have permission to start sucking too. >:C Ugh, LIFE. I don't like this game, I call do-over! *shoves game board off the table* *throws controller against the wall* *tries turning it off and then on again*

Anyway, I'm so so terribly behind in replying to comments (BUT PLEASE KNOW THAT I CHERISH THEM ALL, THEY ARE MY SUNSHINE WHEN SKIES ARE GRAY) and commenting on fic, art, and all that beautiful stuff. So I need to get on that.

What's he's not used to are his newest visions starring international tech guru Jared Padalecki. And he's certainly not used to being shot at, cooped up in a cabin alone with the guy, or returning to a forgotten past that may bring him love in the future. All three happen over the course of one week that drudges up the truth behind his visions and offers a second chance to save Jared.

My ramblings: WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THE PINCH-HITTING SUPERHERO THAT IS DUGINDEEP? ♥♥♥ *flails around dangerously* I can't thank her enough for not only working so hard and writing so much under a tighter deadline, but for spoiling me absolutely rotten with this fic. FAMOUS GENIUS JARED + GRUMPY PSYCHIC JENSEN! \o/ <33333! JEN!SEN! WITH! A! CANE! *dies* If fandom keeps spoiling me like this, I'mma be impossible. More impossible than I already am, I mean. My ramblings: What was I even doing signing up for Quicky Bang??? I am not quick. But I saw this story up for grabs and couldn't resist. COULD NOT DO IT. Not only because of who it was by, and you just know that's gonna be good, but because it was adorable and sticky sweet and I knew working on it would make me happy when skies were gray. And it did! It also made me hungry, oh man. So many sweets were consumed in the making of this art set & I regret nothing.

My ramblings: I LOVED WORKING ON THIS SO MUCH. Maybe too much, since I went through 3 different versions of cover concepts before finally being like OKAY. And then I ran out of time to do anything else. /o\ Though I'm not big on sports of any kind, Field of Dreams was one of my dad's favorite movies and I have such nostalgia over it--I'm sure plenty of ppl are right there with me. Add working with Dei to the mix, with her delightfully delicious writing, and I think I kinda tripped all over myself in my excitement. She knocked this fic so far out of the park, y'all! GO SEE.
