For a couple of years now I’ve had a temporary painting station. It was on a table hardly used, except for myself when deploying my game tables over it! This winter though it has become a very cold place (a big living room) so while looking for other solutions for other problems I came across this.
I made a spot, used a computer table I was going to throw away, and fixed a second light I used for painting some time ago. And ended up with this permanent setup. Might as well say I’m quite happy with it.

It’s great to have a permanent setup. Until recently I also had only a moveable painting tray, whoch got put away after every session. I’ve now relocated myself in a Bureau with a fold up front that closes the desk and its contents from view. LINK
Its a bit small but is better than my previous setup.
