The Form Messages settings in the User Registration & Membership plugin lets you customize the messages displayed to users during registration.
These include success messages (displayed when the action is completed correctly) and error messages (displayed when the user input is invalid).
Customizing these helps improve user experience and allows you to communicate in your brand’s tone.
You can configure these messages by navigating to:
Dashboard → User Registration & Membership → Settings → General → Form Messages

Success Messages #
These messages are displayed to users when their registration or verification actions are successful.

Auto Approved and Manual Login
Shown when a user is successfully registered.
Default: “User successfully registered.”
Auto Approval After Email Confirmation
Shown after a user registers and is prompted to verify their email.
Default: “User registered. Verify your email by clicking on the link sent to your email.”
Email Verification Completed
Shown once the email verification process is successfully completed.
Default: “User successfully registered. Login to continue.”
Admin Approval
Shown when a user registers, but requires admin approval.
Default: “User registered. Wait until admin approves your registration.”
Auto Generated Password Success Message
Shown when a system-generated password is sent to the user’s email.
Default: “An email with a password to access your account has been sent to your email.”
Email Verified Admin Approval Pending
Shown after email verification is complete, but admin approval is still required.
Default: “Email successfully verified. But Admin has to approve you to give access to login. Please contact your administrator for your approval.”
Error Messages #
Error messages are shown when users enter invalid or incomplete information during registration.

Required
Displayed when a mandatory field is left empty.
Default: “This field is required.”
Special Character Validation in Username
Displayed when the username contains invalid special characters.
Default: “Please enter the valid username.”
Email
Displayed when the entered email is invalid.
Default: “Please enter a valid email address.”
Email Suggestion
Displayed when the system detects a possible typo in the email address.
Default: “Did you mean (suggestion)?”
Website URL
Displayed when an invalid URL is entered.
Default: “Please enter a valid URL.”
Number
Displayed when an invalid number is entered.
Default: “Please enter a valid number.”
Confirm Email
Displayed when the email and confirm email fields do not match.
Default: “Email and confirm email not matched.”
Confirm Password
Displayed when the password and confirm password fields do not match.
Default: “Password and confirm password not matched.”
reCAPTCHA
Displayed when the reCAPTCHA validation fails.
Default: “Captcha code error, please try again.”
