getting started

create your first tinydot site in under 5 minutes.

1. sign in

go to tinydot.com and sign in with your Apple account.

2. create a site

• click "create site" button
• enter a name for your site (this becomes your root folder name)
• choose a subdomain (e.g., myblog becomes myblog.tinydot.com)
• select a template (finder is the default)
• click create

your site is now live at yourname.tinydot.com.

3. add files

drag and drop files into the file browser, or click the upload button.

supported file types:

• markdown (.md) - rendered as pages
• images (.jpg, .png, .gif, .webp) - displayed inline
• text files (.txt, .html, .css, .js) - syntax highlighted
• any other file - available for download

4. organize with folders

click "new folder" to create folders. folders become URL paths:

• docs/intro.md → yoursite.tinydot.com/docs/intro
• docs/index.md → yoursite.tinydot.com/docs/

5. customize appearance

go to site settings → customize to:

• change colors (background, text, borders)
• add menu items to header, footer, or sidebar
• switch templates
