To start working with Product Designer App (PDA), you need to configure the system, layout, and resources properly.
Correct settings ensure the plugin runs smoothly and delivers the best experience for both you and your customers.

This guide walks you through all main setting sections step by step.

System Status #

Before configuring anything else, always check your System Status.

How to Check System Status

1. Go to Dashboard menu (1)
2. Scroll down to the System Requirements section
3. Review the Status to see any warnings or errors (2)
4. Compare:
   • Recommended values (3)
   • Current values (4)
5. Fix issues following the provided guide (5)

This step ensures your server environment meets PDA requirements.

2. General Settings #

Go to Settings → choose the setting group you want to configure.

1. Open Settings menu (1)
2. Select a settings tab (2)
3. Configure values (3)
4. Click Save Update (4)

Upload Settings #

You can configure:

• Maximum upload file size
• Allowed image file types

This helps control storage usage and prevent unsupported files (For design tool).

Download Settings #

You can:

• Allow or block customers from downloading design files
• Define allowed image types

⚠️ Important: Enabling customer downloads requires more server memory, especially when many users download large images at the same time. This may affect server performance (When Allow download PNG with 300 DPI is Enabled).

Text Settings #

You can:

• Enable / disable emoji filtering (1)
• Edit default text settings (2)

1. Change text style, font, content and color
2. Click Save

Photo Library Settings #

To allow customers to use images from photo libraries:

1. Select a photo library (1)
2. Enter the required API key (2)

Team & Number Settings #

Configure:

• Font
• Font size
• Color

Used for team names and numbers (sportswear, uniforms, etc.).

QR Code & Barcode Settings #

You can customize:

• Code color
• Content format default

Watermark Settings #

Configure watermark for preview images:

• Content (Recommended 2-5 character)
• Color
• Opacity

Design Guide (Help Video) #

You can embed a YouTube guide video:

• Set the video URL
• Customers can click the Help button on the frontend to view it

Layout Settings #

Functions #

Enable or disable editor functions based on your configuration.

Menus & Groups #

You can:

• Show / hide left-side menus
• Enable or disable functions inside each menu group

Menus are applied based on the selected layout configuration.

Text templates #

Create reusable text templates for customers.

You can:

• Add normal text templates (1)
• Add curved text templates (2)
• Import free templates from store (3)

Workflow:

1. Click Add new text (1 or 2)
2. Edit text and styles
3. Click Save or Export to upload (4)

After adding, templates appear in the text list for customers.

Fonts Library #

You can add fonts by:

• Google Fonts (1)
• Importing from font store (2)
• Uploading your own font files (3)

Upload font steps:

1. Click Upload font
2. Select font file (.ttf) (4)

Fonts will then be available in the design editor.

Shapes Library #

Shapes are used as photo masks. You can:

• Import shapes from the store
• Upload shape files downloaded from the store

Filters Library #

Filters apply color effects to photos. You can:

• Import filters from the store
• Upload filter files manually

Languages #

Languages are automatically listed based on your site’s available languages.

Translate a Language

1. Select a language (1)
2. Choose the language file (2)
3. Translate text lines (3)
4. Click Save Translate (4)

Advanced Settings #

You can clear cache to refresh data:

• Clear cache by specific section
• Or click Remove Cache to clear all

Notes: You can compare versions on the Pricing page:

• Some settings are disabled in Free or Basic versions
• To access all features, you need the Pro version
