Overview #

A quotation is a document provided by a seller to inform a potential buyer of the estimated price for goods or services before they commit to a purchase.

In Product Designer App, the Quote feature allows customers to submit a custom design and request a price estimate.
Shop managers can review design details, estimate pricing, contact customers, and manage quote statuses.

Enable Quote Feature #

To start using the quote feature, you must enable the Request a Quote button in the Design Editor. The app supports two configuration levels, giving you full layout flexibility.

Enable Quote from Settings (Global) #

Apply to all products:

1. Go to Settings → Layout → Function
2. Enable Show Quote

Enable Quote from Product Advanced Settings (Per Product) #

Override global settings for a specific product:

1. Go to Products → Edit Product
2. Open Advanced
3. Select Customize Design Layout
4. Enable Show Quote

This setting applies only to the selected product.

Send a Quote (Customer Flow) #

Open Design Editor

• Select a product
• Click Customize to open the Design Editor

Create the Design

• Add design elements (1)
• Select product color (2)
• Select quantity (3)
• Click Continue (4)

Request a Quote

• You will be redirected to the Add to Cart screen
• Click Request a Quote

Submit Quote Information

• Enter your contact information so the shop manager can reach you
• Click Send to submit the quote request

Quote Submitted – A confirmation modal appears indicating the quote was sent successfully

Manage Quotes (Backend) #

View Quote List

To manage quotes: Go to Quotes in the admin panel. Shop managers can review, manage, or delete quote requests.

Quote List Features

• Search by Quote ID (1)
• Filter by Quote Status (2)
• Quote ID (3)
  • Click to view quote details
  • New quotes display a “New” flag until opened
• Design Thumbnail (4)
• Contact Information (5)
• Status (6)
  • Default status is Pending
  • Status can be updated after review
• Date – Time when the quote was submitted (7)
• View Detail – Open full quote information (8)
• Action – Delete quote (9)

Quote Detail #

View Quote Details

Click View Detail from the quote list to see complete information:

• Item ID – A quote may contain multiple design variants (1)
• WooCommerce Product (2)
  • Product name with direct link
  • Click Download Design to download print files
• Design Thumbnails – Preview all product views (3)
• Design Options – Colors, sizes, attributes, printing type (4)
• Estimated Total – Price calculated by the Design Editor (5)
• Customer Note – Message submitted with the quote request (6)
• Back – Return to quote list (7)

Download Design Files #

• Click Download Design
• Supported formats:
  • PNG
  • PDF
  • SVG

Complete Quote Process #

After reviewing the quote:

• Contact the customer using the provided contact details
• Update the quote status (e.g. Approved, Rejected, Completed)
• Proceed with order creation if the customer confirms
