Requirements #
To use Barcode in the Design Studio, you must enable the Show Barcode option in the Product Designer App settings.
Add Barcode to Design #
Open Barcode Menu
- Open the Barcode menu (1)
- Click Add Barcode (2) to insert a barcode into the design
The barcode will be added as a new layer on the design canvas.

Barcode Options #
Activate Barcode Options
To display barcode options: Click on the barcode layer to activate it
Once selected, the barcode settings panel will appear.
Available Barcode Settings
You can customize the barcode using the following options:
- Edit Barcode Content – Modify the value or data encoded in the barcode (3).
- Select Barcode Type – Choose the barcode format (e.g. Code 128, EAN, UPC, or other supported types) (4).
- Change Barcode Color – Customize the color of the barcode (5).
- Change Barcode Spacing – Adjust the spacing between barcode bars (6).
- Change Barcode Height – Set the height of the barcode (7).
- Set Barcode Background – Set or change the background color of the barcode (8).
- Set Barcode Opacity – Adjust the transparency of the barcode (9).
- Duplicate Barcode – Duplicate the barcode layer (10).
- Lock Barcode – Lock the barcode to prevent accidental changes (11).
- Show / Hide Text Content – Enable or disable the display of the barcode text value (12).
- Barcode Alignment – Align the barcode on the design canvas (13).
- Delete Barcode – Remove the barcode from the design (14).

Notes #
- Barcodes are added as design layers and can be resized, positioned, and aligned like other elements.
- Locked barcodes must be unlocked before editing.
- Make sure the barcode size and contrast are sufficient for scanning.
