GS Posts Grid allows you to control the display order of posts globally and within individual shortcodes.
For All Posts (Global Sorting)
You can manually rearrange posts using drag and drop.
Step 1: Drag & Drop
In your admin panel, navigate to “Sort Order” and drag posts to your preferred position.
This defines the custom order sequence.
Step 2: Apply Custom Order in Shortcode
After arranging posts:
- Go to GS Posts Grid > Shortcodes
- Create a new shortcode or edit an existing one
- Open the Query Settings tab
- Set Order By to Custom Order
- Set Order to ASC
This technique ensures posts appear in the exact order you arranged.
Note: If Order By is not set to Custom Order, the manual sorting will not apply.
Single Post Sorting & Visibility
The Single Post Sorting & Visibility section allows you to control which elements appear on individual post pages.
You can enable or disable visibility for the following:
- Post Title
- Post Category
- Post Tags
- Post Authors
- Post Excerpt
- Post Details
- Post Thumbnail
- Post Comments
- Recent Posts
- Explore Topics
- Tags List
These controls can be adjusted per device, allowing different visibility settings for:
- Desktop
- Tablet
- Mobile
This helps optimize layout structure and readability across screen sizes.
