Export & Import

The Export & Import feature allows you to easily back up or move your posts, shortcodes, and settings between sites.

How to Access

Go to GS Posts Grid > Export & Import in your WordPress dashboard.

Export Options

You can choose what to export:

• Export Posts Data – All the Posts data.
• Export Shortcodes – All saved shortcodes in a .json file.
• Export Settings – Global settings, including preference settings.

If you select all options, a ZIP file will be downloaded named: gs-pg--export--data.zip

Inside the ZIP file you’ll find:

• attachments/ folder – contains all related images.
• data.json – contains exported data.

Importing Data

To import previously exported data:

• Go to the Import Data section.
• Select the exported file (ZIP or JSON).
• Click Import.

Your posts, shortcodes, and settings will be restored on the site.

💡 This feature is especially useful for backups or migrating to another site.
