Navigate to Posts > Add New to create a fresh article. Once you have entered your primary title and content in the standard WordPress editor, scroll down to the GS Posts Grid Fields section to add additional metadata and media.
The specified sections will be displayed here:
General Information
- Custom URL: Enter a specific destination link if this post should redirect elsewhere (e.g.,
https://www.gsplugins.com/). - Subtitle: Provide a brief catchy secondary headline for your post.
- Written By: Specify the author’s name manually if it differs from the WordPress user account.
- Written On: Select or enter the date the content was originally authored.
Document & Media Assets
- PDF URL: Provide a direct link to a downloadable PDF document related to the post.
- Secondary Image: Upload an additional image that can be used for hover effects or alternative grid layouts.
- Image Gallery: Click Add Gallery to select multiple images for a slider or popup display.
Media Options
- Video URL: Paste a link from YouTube to embed video content within the grid item.
- Audio URL: Insert a link to a hosted audio file (MP3) for podcast or music-related posts.
- Media Type: Use the dropdown to set a Video, Audio, Thumbnail or Gallery to display on the popup.
Standard Sidebar Settings
Don’t forget to finalize your post using the right-hand sidebar:
- Categories: Check the relevant boxes (e.g., Climate Change) to organize your content.
- Tags: Add keywords to improve searchability.
- Featured Image: Upload the main thumbnail that will represent the post in the grid.
Once all fields are filled, click Publish to make your post live.
If you notice any of these fields are missing or if the GS Posts Grid Fields box is collapsed, click the small arrow in the top-right of that section to expand it.
