# Verify Permissions on /etc/sysconfig/sshd File

## Description{% #description %}

To properly set the permissions of `/etc/sysconfig/sshd`, run the command:

```
$ sudo chmod 0640 /etc/sysconfig/sshd
    >&2 echo 'Remediation is not applicable, nothing was done'
fi
```
