Overview

Amazon Aurora DSQL is a serverless, distributed SQL database with active-active high availability.

Enable this integration to see all your Amazon Aurora DSQL metrics in Datadog.

Setup

Installation

If you haven’t already, set up the Amazon Web Services integration first.

Metric collection

  1. In the AWS integration tile, ensure that AuroraDSQL is enabled under the Metric Collection tab.
  2. Install the Datadog - Amazon Aurora DSQL integration.

aws.auroradsql.bytes_read
(count)		The number of bytes read from storage.
Shown as byte
aws.auroradsql.bytes_written
(count)		The number of bytes written to storage.
Shown as byte
aws.auroradsql.cluster_storage_size
(gauge)		The size of the cluster storage.
Shown as byte
aws.auroradsql.commit_latency
(gauge)		The time spent in the commit phase of query execution.
Shown as millisecond
aws.auroradsql.compute_dpu
(count)		The approximate compute active-use component of cluster DPU usage.
aws.auroradsql.compute_time
(gauge)		The wall-clock time used by the query processor.

(count)		The approximate multi-region write active-use component of cluster DPU usage. Applies to multi-region clusters.
aws.auroradsql.occ_conflicts
(count)		The number of transactions aborted due to key-level Optimistic Concurrency Control conflicts.
