Manning

I am really excited to see Payton Manning as a Bronco. The Broncs had a great defense last year and finally have a QB. I just hope he can stay healthy and not get hurt in week one or the pre-season. I think Eddie Royal will have a huge year with Manning as QB. Everybody that catches the ball will have a field day this year. With a little luck the Broncos will make the play-offs again this year.

Hi there, seems that this place is rather slow during the off season and I know I've been a bad maintainer lately, so since I finally have internet working on my computer again, I am going to do a new header.  So if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Also, the draft seemed to go ok.  Tim Tebow huh?  Well we'll see where that gets us.

Losing to the Raiders, at home, especially this year, is inexcusable.

What the hell?

After seeing last night's Bears game, I'm definitely happy we got rid of Cutler.

K, we are in serious need of a layout change, so at this point in the season, who should we put on the header? I'm open to any ideas as long as pictures are easy to find. Let me know what you think and I'll make a header out of the player mentioned the most. :)

Joe Theismann, Sterling Sharpe, and I pick the Broncos over the Cowboys tomorrow.  I live in Detroit so this will be the first Broncos game I get to see this year.  I can't wait.

Trading Marshall just shows that acting like a child will get you what you want.

We'd better not lose Marshall, too.

LaMont Jordan
J.J. Arrington
Correll Buckhalter
Selvin Young
Ryan Torain

So why another running back with our first pick?  I realize Moreno did well at Georgia, but... it just doesn't seem right to me.

How did you find this community?: I was looking for stuff on the broncos in LJ.
Besides the Broncos, what's your favourite NFL team?: Seahawks
Who's your favorite Bronco(s)?: Current: Jay Cutler, though that is gonna change soon. I love Eddie Royal too.
Who's your favorite player(s) from other NFL teams?: Deshawn Jackson (Eagles), LT (Chargers), Manning (Colts)
How Long have you been a football fan?: Since I was about six. My dad was a HUGE Cowboys fan and we attended three or four games a year.
Do you play? and if yes what position?: TE and FB in high school. I got a few scholarships for college to bulk up and play guard. But like an idiot I joined the Navy instead.
Do you own a(ny) jersey(s)? If yes which ones?: I have a Charger jersey from when I actually tried out for them. Needless to say I didn't make it but my cousin did. Of course he was drafted by the Chargers that year. So he had a much better chance than I did. hehe

Even though it's April the first, this is not an April Fool's Day post. I think the Broncos screwed up royally with Jay Cutler. I know all the NFL talk shows are blaming this situation on Jay Cutler. But they are dead wrong. The GM and new coach screwed this up by lying to Jay and by being arrogent jerks. This really all started when they let Mike Shanahan
go as the head coach. I think this was a mistake. They should have brought in a guy to handle the other stuff and let Mike just coach. Instead they brought in another guy to do the same thing. He will fail just like Mike Shanahan did. Only now he will do so with out a great QB and maybe Chris Simms will be their starter at QB. Ugh... that is the recipe for another 8-8 season for quite some time. And the Broncos getting a new head coach in three years.
If they would have been honest with Jay from the begining I think most of this could have been avoided. Now he will go and be a pro bowl QB somewhere else and the Broncos could be in a lot of trouble. Jay wasn't the Broncos problem. It was their defense. I think even now at age 40, I could run for nearly 100 yards on those guys behind an average NFL offensive line. A stud running back like Moreno from Georgia or a good defensive lineman like Brian Orakpo or B.J. Raji is what the Broncos need: not a new QB.
If they are gonna trade Cutler... it should be to the redskins. That way they can get Colt Brennan, a guy who I think will be better than Cutler in a year or two, and probably Clinton Portis and or a first round pick. Personally I would go with the draft pick and get both B.J. Raji and Knowshon Moreno. Then let Colt develop and play this year. Next year, the play offs.
