
Matt Dylan Geli
Matt Dylan Saplan Geli is an award-winning student-researcher, international competition medalist, national and local government-recognized citizen, decorated stellar student, and dynamic organization leader. He is currently an Archer Achiever Premier full scholarship recipient and Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC scholarship-qualified student taking up Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication and Bachelor of Science in Applied Corporate Management at De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines. He delivered the student address (the first Humanities and Social Sciences graduation speaker) for the DLSU Senior High School Batch 119 having graduated as a gold medallion awardee (With Highest Honors), Best in Humanities and Social Sciences, Outstanding Research Publication awardee, Outstanding Research Presentation Awardee, and the Distinguished St. Br. Miguel Febres Cordero Awardee.
As an award-winning researcher, he, along with his research team, was awarded the Best Paper Award at the 2021 International Virtual Conference on Interdisciplinary Research in Higher Education for their study entitled “The Perception on Poverty Culture of Grade 12 Public High Schools of the City of Manila: A Critique on Lewis and Moynihan’s Culture of Poverty Thesis”, published before the ASEAN Interdisciplinary Research Journal. For his political communication research study, he won Best Abstract Award at the 2021 Asian Conference on Multidisciplinary Research. Furthermore, Mr. Geli was an honorary research presenter at the 8th International Conference on Innovation in Science and Technology (Stockholm, Sweden) for his statistical study on the relationship between phone screen time and the weight of students. Mr. Geli conducted a total of 11 research conference presentations of which seven (7) are international.
