Found a few new manga scanlations to follow today. Two of them I've decided warrant some form of short review, although admittedly the first is a lot shorter than the second.

I have to warn you that the loli contingent is very well-represented here. No, I did not plan this. It was entirely a coincidence.

Black Lagoon is about six kinds of awesome.

That would be four great main characters, high action, great understated humour, and a Mad Dog Meido in the recent story.

Minus one awesome for over-the-top blood and violence, though.

The Bleach manga appears to be going along the lines of "one move per chapter". As in, chapter start, character does a Special Technique, chapter ends. With lots of action lines. I got the set from someone who wishes me to change my opinion on Bleach overall, but since the anime does follow the manga faithfully, this doesn't seem to be happening, sorry. Will be dropping this (before it even really started being "followed", really).

The Kashimashi manga (like the anime) could be better in terms of actual characterization, but it's still early. Right now they're pretty much harping on a few set themes, and incidentally advancing the plot in the meantime.

The Mai Otome manga continues, and the plot gets more and more convoluted. (And it's a completely different story from the anime, so that's a plus.)

Wondering if I should follow any more scanlations.
