I’m currently in school, but I absolutely hate it and do random side projects both in my free time and my not-so-free time. A couple of years ago, I found this while looking up something I saw in a game I was playing. That game was the one and only Sketchbook Cannon.js- and Three.js-based playground game. So I found Three.js and realised it was basically Unity, for free! Although I wish it used a more user-friendly, simpler coding system as well as built-in examples for common, useful tasks (that way you could just read code from the examples and, since it’s in the semi-readable JavaScript language, pick apart what you need from it)
