This shading example just looks interesting and provides control over shading and rotation on both desktop and mobile devices as well as an additional control over mouse sprites on desktop devices.
It includes a little bit of Proton mouse sprites and the three-quarks atom.
The code for this example is available here.
Some shading gurus here could probably do something like this better and more correct.

Short answer is YES if you manipulate the cube and freeze the frame.
Long answer, I did bother adding a video to my initial post just to show what it could look like. Nobody should really expect too much from old versions of libraries used in this example. Mouse sprites do have a tendency to grow bigger, as your picture shows - maybe I should disable the zoom.

I see, OK. I was thinking about the black background of the sprites. I thought that a transparent background would have been a more traditional appearance.
I will leave it as it is for now.
Since this html file is pretty much standalone then users can run it from their computers and try manipulating any part of the code to see the outcome.
