Prompt where you type the command starts after a $ on a new line giving you\nample space (full width barring the $ and a space) to type your command and\nso the prompt (especially if it\u2019s long, eg. if you are in some deep\nnested directory) does not interfere with your commands and avoids wrapping\nfor the most part unless you are typing an excessively long command in which\ncase you should probably use an editor (VIM<\/a>) to edit it with\n^X^E<\/kbd>\n.<\/li>\n
    4. Shows you the current ruby version in use from rvm, using the rvm current<\/code>\ncommand in the right prompt. The ZSH right prompt is really\ncool and since I use rvm with several ruby versions which change with\ndifferent projects .rvmrc files, the right prompt helps me to know the ruby\ncontext at all times. It shows the full ruby version along with the gemset\nname in use. The nice thing about the right prompt in ZSH is that it hides\nautomatically if you happen to type a command that’s long enough to\nreach it :).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
