Inspiration

We love dogs and seeing a cute dog often makes our day. We know that many people share our love for dogs, so we created an iOS app where people can scroll through dog profiles and feed the dogs "treats". We hope that our app will brighten people's days and increase happiness in the world!

What it does

Our app allows users to create a profile to share dogs with the Püpper community and keep track of their own dogs. Each dog's page displays a picture of the dog, its name, breed, and birthday. Users can scroll through the dogs that users have added to our database, and can "feed" their favorite dogs to increase the number of "treats" the dog has.

How we built it

We used react-native and firebase

Challenges we ran into

Setting up and getting used to react-native, decreased motivation as time progressed, teammates without iPhones had some trouble simulating the app on their phones.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our adorable login page, the "treats" feature, using firebase (relatively-)successfully, and our perseverance to actually create a working app, especially after not having an app idea for the first 9 hours.
