Inspiration

I wanted to create a narrative for people (like me) to see the harsh reality some are facing in Toronto.

I think Canada is very fortunate to have a strong healthcare foundation to stand on. I hope this example can inspire people to do a better job than me with their own cities.

What it does

Takes you through a short experience to see what live can be like in Toronto.

How I built it

I switched ideas with 13 hours left, so I had to go pure HTML, CSS and JS.

Challenges I ran into

Prioritization: whats the most valuable feature considering time constraints.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This has been something I've been meaning to look into, so I'm glad I got this show on the road!

What's next for HomelessTO

Better UX, better connecting narratives and also provide a balanced picture.
