Inspiration
Jonah likes basketball, he likes reels, we thought it'd be cool
What it does
It takes long form basketball content and slices it down to highlight reels automatically.
How we built it
Sitting around a table for 2 days and hacking away, each person working on an individual workstream of python, then joining it together on modal
Challenges we ran into
New Vision api is unstable, and has throttling and low rate limits Coherency across time when joining spliced videos Generating voice that matches each moment, and is timesynced correctly
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting an actual working pipeline by the end
What's next for Dunk Reel
Making a landing page, and a simple editor UI Put it on the web, let creators use it to make shorts, paying per short or iteration using stripe.
