Inspiration

Always wanted to create an AI Chat Bot which can talk to the user intelligently. I also wanted to write that chat bot using java (as java is love) as a base language, then I discovered Vaadin which allows us to write the code in Java to build Web-Apps with more technologies like Spring and AIML(Artificial Intelligence Markup Language).

It talks to the user intelligently.

How I built it

Used Java, Vaadin, AIML, SpringBoot, CSS, HTML

Challenges we ran into

Not knowing Vaadin completely

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finally built a web-application which can talk to the user.

What we learned

How to use Vaadin, AIML and How to integrate SpringBoot to resolve memory issues.

What's next for Botchaleo-AI-Bot

Will add more features like: 2 bots talking to each other, a starting page where user can enter username before going towards the next step, Multiple bots to talk to for different knowledge, add voice features, etc.
