So, you guys remember the Friends episode where Phoebe realizes her mother hid all the sad parts of movies from her?

When I was a kid, I had a massive thing for Billy Jack, and watching the movies on TV was a huge deal for me (he kicks people in the face!). I Netflixed Billy Jack this week, in a moment where curiosity and nostalgia over-rode my common sense, and it turns out the movie starts with a scene where some mean guys go hunting for wild mustangs! All these years, and I've never known that, because I never saw that scene. My parents totally hid it from me!

In other news, this movie is, as I suspected it would be, equal parts hilarious and horrifying. And also, completely bizarre. ("DAMN YOUR PACIFISM!")

But the face-kicking is still cool.
