I forgot to mention the other iPod accessory I got: a charger/FM transmitter and it is very, very awesome. I wasn't planning to get a transmitter, as I'd heard they don't work all that well, but I read up on this one and took a chance. It works wonderfully, even out by me where there's a radio station that comes in--albeit weakly--on the transmitter frequency. Great sound, only one wire floating around in your car. I love it so much. Now I can take little Belle with me everywhere I go! Woot!
I just finished yet another giant canister of peanut butter. And it was perfect. I had just enough to put the optimum amount on my last bite of apple. I'm kind of curious to know how many bananas, apples, and pieces of bread it takes to use up one of these things. Hmmm...perhaps will track next time.
You know, every year when fresh cherries start appearing in the stores, I buy some. And every year I eat like four and then I remember that my stomach *hates* them, and I spend the rest of the day in misery and I vow to never buy them again. And then the next year...
Tell ’em to go out there with all they got and post a link for the Gipper.

- I've been enjoying the Batman drawings (and that Elvis was funny) in this blog, and now today there's a Wolverine.
- Comic fanart here. Wolverine, pirates, Snape, even a Logan and Remy. And I love the itty bitty every-character-played-by-Hugh one.
- Tom Raney is taking over the pencils on Ultimate Secret. By the time it comes out, who will care?
- Jock (who some of you know for his great covers he's been doing for DC), has posted the style guides he drew for Batman Begins.
- Is this for real? Warner Brothers have announced that they are in negotiations with Evan Ross Naess to star in Jellybeans, their new comedy about a roller skating rink in Atlanta, which promises “a contemporary urban feel...with music and dancing. Ooookay.
- You wouldn't think a blog by the guy who writes Sally Forth would be on my reading list (and I can't even remember how I ended up there a few months ago), but it's become one of my favorite reads because Francesco is freakin' hilarious. In honor of the Batman Begins hype, he's linked to some of his past superhero posts. You need to read Excerpts from the Book "Live from Metropolis: An Uncensored Oral History of the Justice League". Green Lantern: We weren’t just a team in the beginning. We were a family. No one ever said to me, "Y’know, if we took away that ring of yours even the monkey could beat the shit out of you." *dies* And the stuff about Batman and Robin is awesome, and scarily believable.
- Here's the lamest contest ever--win a chance to be in a movie that may or may not get made! (That'd be the Fantastic Four sequel.)
brown_betty has scans from a book I covet: Justice Riders. The JLA as cowboys!
- Batman Begins director Chris Nolan says it's not likely Robin will show up in any sequels he directs. Which is a good thing, IMO, because he says he pictures Frankie Muniz as Dick Grayson.
- The Fables Adversary will be revealed in #40.
- This is supposed to be a blurb about Hugh Jackman in that Woody Allen movie, but what caught my attention was the line "Jackman will shoot the project before starting work on X-Men 3, to be directed by the much-maligned Brett Ratner later this summer." Bwah!
- Lots of Fantastic Four stuff floating around today. The soundtrack. Character featurettes. Eight TV spots (Quicktime). Behind the scenes stuff.
- More Fantastic Four: Three questions with Ioan Gruffudd. Annoying music plays in the background the whole time, but they ask him if Mr. Fantastic could beat Batman. There's a fight I'd love to see. Can you imagine the one-upmanship? It'd be all
"I've out-witted you!"
"I've out-thought you."
"I've out-planned you!"
"I've out-prepared you."
"My computer is bigger than yours!"
"My computer's been programmed for just this circumstance."
"I can stretch this big!"
"I've got something in my Batbelt that will contract you to the size of a marble."
It'd be brillant.
Feels Like:
