The Genesis Framework adds several Genesis-specific settings to the User Profile page. The settings available here allow you to grant Genesis-specific permissions for individual users, determine how their author archive pages appear, and customize some SEO settings for their author archive pages.
The URL for the author archive page will be http://yourdomain.com/author/username. Replace yourdomain.com with your personal domain name and username with the author’s username. Example: https://demo.studiopress.com/genesis-sample/author/admin/
To get started, go to Users > Your Profile (or the profile of the user whose profile you’d like to edit).

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to configure the settings as described below.

- User Permissions: Enable or disable the Genesis admin menu and submenus for this user as shown below.
Note: These User Permissions checkboxes change menu visibility for administrators only. Non-administrators will never see the Genesis admin menus.

- Author Archive Settings: Add a custom headline and description for this user’s author archive page, if desired.
- Author Box: Enable or disable the author box at the bottom of this user’s posts and/or at the top of this user’s author archive page. An example is shown in the image below.

- Author Archive SEO Settings: Customize the SEO settings for this user’s author archive page. See Post or Page Theme SEO Settings for an explanation of each item.
- Layout Settings: Select the desired layout for this user’s author archive page.
Click Update Profile to preserve your settings.
