This feature requires the Genesis Blocks Pro plugin which is available through a Genesis Pro subscription.
The WordPress® block editor includes a handy Reusable Blocks feature that allows you to save a block (or a group of blocks) and reuse it in other posts and pages on your site.1 This feature is useful if you need to insert the same content (such as calls-to-action or pricing information) on multiple posts or pages.
Genesis Blocks Pro makes it easier to work with Reusable Blocks by giving you quick access to them within the Layouts block.
Table of Contents:
Create a Reusable block
After you’ve customized a block (or a group of blocks) with your preferred settings and content, click the More options (three vertical dots) icon to reveal the block options. Then click Add to Reusable Blocks, shown in the image below, to save it.

Edit a Reusable block
After adding the Layouts block to the post or page, click the Reusable Blocks tab to see a list of all your saved blocks. Note: It may take a moment for the Reusable Blocks tab to appear.
Click the Manage All Reusable Blocks link to be directed to another page where you can edit existing Reusable Blocks (or create new ones). Or to edit an existing Reusable Block directly, click the Edit link next to its name.
Notes:
- When you click either of these links (Manage All Reusable Blocks or Edit) to edit your saved blocks, the changes you make are global and will be applied to ALL instances of those blocks.
- When you add Reusable Blocks to an individual post or page and then edit them there, the changes will only appear on that post or page. The global Reusable Block will remain unmodified.
