Drop Cap Block

The Drop Cap block allows you to add a stylized letter to the first word of a paragraph.

After adding a paragraph to the post or page, you can configure the drop cap settings, as described below.

  1. Drop Cap Size: Choose how small or large the first letter of the first word should be.
  2. Drop Cap Style: Choose the style the first letter will use. You can choose between displaying just the letter, the letter with a dark square around it, or a letter with a border around it.
  3. Additional CSS Class(es): You can add one or more CSS class to customize the appearance of the drop cap letter. After adding the class name(s) here, you can enter your custom CSS code in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
