We have also released official documentation on the topic.

What is publisher verification

Publisher verification allows developers to add a verified identity to their app registrations and demonstrate to customers that the app comes from an authentic source. It allows them to distinguish their apps to customers by receiving a “verified” badge that appears on the Azure AD consent prompt.

Why publisher verification matters

Admins can also set user consent policies based on if an apps is publisher verified helping streamline adoption. Developers who are building for Microsoft 365 that want to further distinguish their apps can also participate in the Microsoft 365 App Certification program. These steps will help to increase adoption by making it easier for users and admins to trust and begin using your applications.

Get started

To take advantage of publisher verification, please check out our documentation on how to mark your app as publisher verified.

We have released official documentation on Publisher verification, which protects users from application-based attacks such as consent phishing.

[5
22
post-5633","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-microsoft-identity-platform","tag-azure-ad

We have released official documentation on Publisher verification, which protects users from application-based attacks such as consent phishing.

["GET
