{"id":65881,"date":"2022-10-18T08:59:44","date_gmt":"2022-10-18T16:59:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/?p=65881"},"modified":"2022-10-18T08:59:44","modified_gmt":"2022-10-18T16:59:44","slug":"october-patches-for-azure-devops-server-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/october-patches-for-azure-devops-server-2\/","title":{"rendered":"October patches for Azure DevOps Server"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This month, we are releasing fixes that impact our self-hosted product, <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/services\/devops\/server\/\">Azure DevOps Server<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The following will be fixed with this patch:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resolve issue with newly added AD identities not appearing in security dialog identity pickers. <\/li>\n<li>Fix an issue with &#8220;Requested by Member of Group&#8221; filter in the web hook settings.<\/li>\n<li>Fix Gated check-in builds error when the Organization settings for pipeline had job authorization scope configured as Limit job authorization scope to current project for non-release pipelines. <\/li>\n<li>Fix retrieving access token from Azure when establishing service connection behind authenticated proxy. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Azure DevOps Server 2020.1.2 Patch 3<\/h3>\n<p>If you have Azure DevOps Server 2020.1.1, you should first update to <a href=\"https:\/\/go.microsoft.com\/fwlink\/?LinkId=2195318\">Azure DevOps Server 2020.1.2<\/a>. Once on Update 1.2, install <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/azdev2020.1.2patch3\">Azure DevOps Server 2020.1.2 Patch 3<\/a>. Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/azure\/devops\/server\/release-notes\/azuredevops2020u1?view=azure-devops#azure-devops-server-2020-update-12-patch-3-release-date-october-18-2022\">release notes<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Verifying Installation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Run <code>devops2020.1.2patch3.exe CheckInstall<\/code>, <code>devops2020.1.2patch3.exe<\/code> is the file that is downloaded from the link above.
