To maximize collaboration, you need the ability to easily discover content across all your projects. Now you can use <strong>wiki search<\/strong>\u00a0to quickly find relevant wiki pages by title or page content across all projects in your VSTS account.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/L0search.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/L0search.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1042\" height=\"255\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38495\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Simply type the search text in the <strong>Search wiki in this project<\/strong>\u00a0search box in the top navigation of VSTS. The search results display the page title and a snippet of the markdown content in the order of relevance to easily discover the page of your interest.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/searchresults.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/searchresults.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1059\" height=\"536\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38535\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>We understand what you mean<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Wiki search supports English language stemming i.e. when you search for a term such as <em>create<\/em>, wiki search will show page results containing related words such as <em>creating<\/em>, <em>created<\/em>, or <em>creates<\/em> etc. to help you to find the most relevant wiki page.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/create.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/create.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1048\" height=\"252\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38485\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Wiki search is context aware<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The search is context aware i.e. if you search from the wiki hub, you will navigate to the wiki search results. If you intend to search for wiki pages while you are in the code or work hubs, click on the dropdown chevron next to the search box to select <strong>Search wiki<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/wikichevron.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/wikichevron.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"362\" height=\"136\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38555\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition when you search for a wiki page while in the context of your team project, the search results will show wiki pages in the context of your project. You can click on the\u00a0<strong>or search this account<\/strong>\u00a0link to view wiki pages across multiple projects in your account.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/searchthisaccount.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/searchthisaccount.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1099\" height=\"146\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38545\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Don\u2019t lose your page context<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The content of a wiki page is as useful as the context of the page. Context of a page may refer to the order of the page in a page hierarchy or a page\u2019s relationship with its parent pages and sibling pages. Let\u2019s say I am looking for syntax for \u201c<em>mathematical formulas<\/em>\u201d in Wiki and I search for the text \u201cmathematical formulas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/mathformulas.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/mathformulas.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"604\" height=\"227\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38505\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The first page is of my interest and I click on this page. I land on the \u201cMathematical Formulas\u201d page in Wiki and the tree expands to show related pages in the Wiki tree hierarchy.
