We&#8217;ve repeatedly heard in support calls and from our customers that they want capabilities to simplify this process in Visual Studio Team Services. I\u2019m excited to announce that we have\u00a0released a preview of our new account-level user hub experience, which begins to address these issues. If you are a Project Collection Administrator, you can now navigate to the new Users page by turning on \u201cStreamlined User Management\u201d under \u201cPreview features\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/previewfeatures.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/04\/previewfeatures-290x300.png\" alt=\"previewfeatures\" width=\"290\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-28736 size-medium\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are some of\u00a0the changes that will light up when you turn on the feature.<\/p>\n<h3>Inviting people to the account in one easy step<\/h3>\n<p>Administrators\u00a0can now add users to an account, with the proper extensions, access level, and group memberships at the same time, enabling their users to hit the ground running. You can also\u00a0invite up to 50 users at once through the new invitation experience.<a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/1invite.png\">\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/accountlvlinvite.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/04\/accountlvlinvite.jpg\" alt=\"accountlvlinvite\" width=\"463\" height=\"379\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-29265 size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>User management with all the information where you need it<\/h3>\n<p>The Users page has been re-designed to show you more information to help you understand users in your account at a glance. The table of users also now includes a new column called &#8220;Extensions&#8221; that lists the extensions each user has access to.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/acctlvluserhub.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/04\/acctlvluserhub.jpg\" alt=\"acctlvluserhub\" width=\"897\" height=\"263\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-29275 size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Detailed view of individual users<\/h3>\n<p>Additionally, you can view and change the access level, extensions, and group memberships that a specific user has access to through the context menu provided for each selected user \u2013 a one-stop shop to understand and adjust everything a user has access to.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/detailsview.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/04\/detailsview.jpg\" alt=\"detailsview\" width=\"447\" height=\"432\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-29256 size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Feedback<\/h3>\n<p>Try it out on your account and tell us what you think by posting on Developer Community or sending us a smile.
