An Initiative for the Early Screening, Detection, and Treatment of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D)

The DETECT-T1D initiative is an online resource that has been developed to provide clinicians and patients with information on the screening and early detection of T1D, as well as therapeutic advances that delay disease progression and preserve beta cell function. The development of disease modifying therapies to delay T1D progression and preserve beta cell function has the potential to alter paradigms of care. Screening, early detection, multidisciplinary care, and patient & clinician education help bring these advances to practice.
