Why would 2 50 year olds possibly need to purchase a kiddy wadeing pool, in the middle of a wind storm?
Answer: To corral the new additions to the Monster household. HUH!!!!


An unusual thing happened night before last. Dottie's car has been broken down since Friday so, I have been driving her around the last couple of days. This includes taking her to the feeding stations that she set up around Coolidge to feed homeless cats. We pull up to te feeding station behind one of the local restaurants and Dottie says " Oh my God turn off the headlights"!
I look over at the feeding bowl and what do I see. Three tiny kittens sitting in the food bowl. I think this was a deliberate act by Mama Kitty to find a place for her children to live. She was obviously having a hard time careing for them and I think she figured out that putting them there would be a way that she could get them somewhere that they would be taken care of. Effectively, we got the babys in a basket, on the doorstep.

So we are now the proud parents of 3 baby kitties.... 2 silver tigers( sort of) and 1 all black.

The kiddie pool is so we can keep them sequestered while they figure out the litter box thing. Plus it will help us keep track of them while we make the house safe for small ones.

I will post pictures as soon as I ressurect my old Jornada. It's been dormant for a while so bare with me for a bit...

Needless to say, this was totally unexpected!!!
